Candidates for Section Representative to MAA Congress Announced

The Section Nominating Committee is pleased to announce the nominees for this year’s election of our next Section Representative to MAA Congress:

• Anne Dougherty, University of Colorado Boulder

• Tracii Friedman, Colorado Mesa University.

Please read the candidate statements for both nominees. The individual elected to this position will serve a three-year term (beginning in July 2023) on the MAA Congress, the national body that serves as a conduit for communication between MAA’s Board of Directors, its sections, and other constituencies. The election itself will be conducted electronically by National, sometime prior to our section meeting; please watch your email for your ballot which will also provide a voting deadline.
